Yat ming post^^
In the bus we sang christmas songs, when we reached Plaza Singapura, we had lunch there for 1 hour. We ended up eating in the food count because all the fast food restautant were full of people. After our lunch we went to take pictures for our blog. We began to walk to tanglin mall from plaza singapura, as we walked to tanglin mall I saw hundreds of shopping malls in their decorations for christmas celerations. After a tiring walk to tanglin mall, we waited for the other squads, when the final squad came, we put our bags down and went to play with the snow. we had some fun, for me i put foam on jovis' hair and shirt. After it was over,we walked to a bus stop to wait for our bus as we were tired =_=.when the bus came we all went into the bus to have a good rest.

Christmas Celebration 2008 - Samuel
Hey is Samuel here doing the posting! Based on the pictures I saw, I can see that everyone had fun...everyone except m, because due to some reason I did not joined you guys there. You guys played "snow", but it has been around for a long time, I used to play that same "snow" when I was young. I hope everyone had fun and I also hope everyone learned the True meaning of Christmas! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone!
Christmas 2008-Jovis
We were heading to Plaza singapura(Aka PS) by the bus after the program. While we were trying to kill time, we sang some christmas songs along our journey . While we going to have our dinner in PS, our squad took the same lift with "xiao" mdn, chiong song saw the word P.S, he keep saying "pang sai".....(lol)
We went to buy our food and i ordered Salmon Don and it costed me $5.90!!!!!! Boris ordered Chicken Don i Guess. I forgotten what Chiong Song ate, something that was not beef. After we had eaten our heavy meal,we went to take more photos along Orchard Road. We reached Tanglin Mall to meet up with the other 3 squads. We played some soaps and i got my whole hair covered with it, thanks to Yae Ming and Shawn.... After playing for 15 mins we decided to stop and went to wash up as we were covered with soap. We were feeling tiring after a long day and were gladed to take the bus back to church.

Christmas Celebration 2008 - Chun Siong
Hi I am Chun Siong and I am here to post about how I feel about this year Christmas Celebration.
The songs was meaningful and the game we played on the bus was great. I hope that we could have our dinner closer to Tanglin Mall, because everyone was very tired, after the long walk.
I find that playing with "snow" part was quite funny when Clement the CSM was being make up using the snow. It was the best Christmas I ever celebrated!

Christmas Celebration 2008
Hey people, I am here to update this blog about the recent Christmas Celebration on behalf of my squad! If you are wondering who I am, I am Kok Yong! So well basically I would be here to show you guys what exciting and meaningful things that we did as a 28th Family to celebrate this joyous season!
The day start off by doing those usual routine, like Squad Leader fall-in and Muster Parade.
After which we had our Sing-A-Long session, and definitely everyone was shocked, upon knowing that Officer Justin take over as our Sing-A-Long Leader, because seldom do we see such scene whereby the Officer is the Sing-A-Long. We sang Christmas carols and some songs, however in the midst of enjoying these soothing melody, it is always important to make an effort to understand the meaning behind all these words.
Mr Chin took over afterward, as the devotion leader! We did something different again, for this devotion, Mr Chin show us a video clip about how's God love has moved people heart and touched their life. He emphasised to us that while enjoying this joyous season, we must never forget why are we celebrating this day. People nowadays has the misconception on what is the true meaning behind Christmas, many people regard this day as simply a day for them to exchange gift and the chance to see Orchard road up with many beautiful lightening. And there is lots of thing around us that has caused us to drift away from our knowing the true significance of this day, and Mr Chin refer all these as "Noises". They are things that is always around us, so Mr Chin urged us that we should take time to quieten down ourselves and reflect about it. Christmas is not about us, is about Jesus, the Son of God! He is the reason of why we are able to be here!
I didn't joined the others for the later part of that day, because of something on, but I think all of them had a great time out there!
After all, the emphasis of this whole programme was to let us known the difference on how Christian and how people around the world celebrate this season of peace and giving!
Enjoy the pictures of Squad Corinthians out!

Right after that, we did something new, that we never had done before! Normally we will bring gifts and exchange it within ourselves, we did something that is more cool thoi time rounf , nevertheless much more meaningful! It was a Christmas Card Exchange session! We were randomly given a paper, which on it state the code on who are we writing too. We were given Christmas Card and using that we are supposed to write some well-wishes to the person that is stated on the paper. I got Lek Wei! In the mean time, we also received a gift which is contributed by all the working officer! Thanks Officers!

Christmas Celebration outing
For this year Christmas celebration outing, the whole company went to Tanglin Mall to play with "soap" snow. We had our dinner at the Plaza Singapura. We were very impressed by the christmas decorations outside the Plaza. There are beautiful christmas tree and many statues of Shepherd, Angels(not as Holy as the real one!!! ), Sheeps and also Mary and Joseph carrying baby Jesus. We all posed and took some photos with them for remembrance.
About the "soap" snow, we did not enjoy that much because the place was packed with too many people and we found it hard to play. We walked so much that at the end of the outing we were all exhausted!

Overall i think that the program was allright and the singing of song was nice as it kill most of the time but only the walking part that took most of our time to reach the Mall

Officer Gary's 21st Birthday
This morning after the Youth Worship, we gathered in a classroom upstairs to celebrate the birthdays of officer Gary, Joshua F and Boon Hwee. For officer Gary, it's his 21st.
Here are the pictures of that celebration.

After that, while officer Wen Wei took the Boys' cell, the rest of us went to Park Royal Hotel on Kitchener Road to have a birthday lunch for officer Gary. We had ala carte buffet in the Chinese restaurant in the hotel. We also bought him a tie (a trendy black tie, according to officer Dennis, who bought it), and a birthday card which we all signed. Last night, Dennis and I went to IMM to get a box for the tie, and we had dinner there too.
Here are the pictures of us (thankfully, not showing how much we ate) in the restaurant and hotel lobby.
